My First Year as a Real Estate Advisor

I am so thrilled to say that I successfully completed my first full year as a full time real estate agent. Though, you might notice I don't call my self I real estate agent...I've titled myself a Real Estate Advisor because it's my ultimate goal to be a resource for you when it comes to all thing real things estate. Whether you own multiple investment properties or just one primary residence your real estate portfolio should be attended to regularly as it's an appreciating asset that you can use to increase your wealth.

In my first year of real estate, I completed 20 transactions. I surpassed my original goal that I set for myself by more than 40% and more importantly than the qualitative results is the fact that I realized this is exactly the career I should be in. I listed and sold 10 houses at 102% of the combined original list price. The numbers are great and important, but the real joy comes with helping people. For example, I helped buyers purchase 11 homes this year. I got to help one family where the husband and wife are both veterans and they purchased a duplex. So, in one transaction they became first time home owners and investors. Congrats to Nathan and Adelaide!

I have several stories from the year that I'd like to include, helping Mendy and Cheri grow their investment portfolio, assisting Roxanne and Norman downsize into the perfect home in their preferred location, and finding Alexus the perfect single family home for her first investment property.
